Jr. Support Manager

We are seeking an experienced Jr. Support Manager to join our highly talented cross-functional team. The role will involve supporting daily operations, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.

Responsibilities:

➔ Communicate effectively via email with vessel operators and masters to coordinate and plan voyages.
➔ Conduct detailed reviews and studies of daily weather forecasts impacting individual vessels.
➔ Analyze Post Voyage calculations to identify potential savings for vessels.
➔ Collaborate with the Naval Architecture team to develop vessel models.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

➔ Preferably a 2nd Mate or 3rd Mate with a minimum of 12 months of Rank experience (Tanker, Container, or Bulk Carrier).
➔ Proficient in working with weather systems and possess a solid understanding of meteorology, especially for weather routing.
➔ Strong analytical background.
➔ Excellent communication skills, highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
➔ Strong project management skills.

Beneficial Skills:

➔ Prior shore-based experience in an operational role.
➔ Strong knowledge of Excel and IT skills.

Availability: Should be able to join our team in Bangalore at the earliest.
