We are seeking an experienced Jr. Support Manager to join our highly talented cross-functional team. The role involves supporting daily operations, with a focus on collaboration and effective communication.

The role

• Communicate effectively via email with vessel operators and masters to coordinate and plan voyages.
• Conduct detailed reviews and studies of daily weather forecasts impacting individual vessels.
• Analyse post voyage calculations to identify potential savings for vessels.
• Collaborate with the naval architecture team to develop vessel models.

Required skills and qualifications

• Preferably a 2nd Mate or 3rd Mate with a minimum of 12 months of rank experience (Tanker, Container or Bulk Carrier).
• Proficient with weather systems and a solid understanding of meteorology, especially for weather routing.
• Strong analytical background.
• Excellent communication skills, highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong project management skills.

Beneficial skills

• Prior shore-based experience in an operational role.
• Strong knowledge of Excel and IT skills.
