Optimum Voyage turns 10

This month, Optimum Voyage turns 10 years.

What started with just Thor and Martin and a shared belief that better voyages come from better decisions has grown into a global team of 30 people.

The early days: founders Thor and Martin in the first office.

From those early days to today, we are now headquartered in Copenhagen, with offices and team members across India, the UK, Poland, and Greece.

Over the past decade, we have helped optimize hundreds of thousands of voyages by combining advanced technology with deep maritime expertise. Along the way, we have also significantly improved how optimized routes are delivered by making voyage optimization available directly through APIs and seamlessly integrated into other platforms.

The goal has always been the same: safer voyages, stronger commercial outcomes, and real operational value.
